Replacement Process
Should I replace my system?
Of course we want all of our customers to have shiny new high efficient comfort systems. However, that is far from practical. I also wish I could tell you there is a simple rule of thumb on when to replace. The truth is you should look at many factors before making your decision. Here are the most important ones.
Repair vs Replace
Very rarely can we not just repair the problem with your current system. Unfortunately in our industry customers are often led to believe their system cannot be fixed in hopes to sell a new system. I am here to tell you that is almost never the case. The real question is, “When is it no longer worth it?” The big things we need to look at with your current system are: how large of a repair does your system need, is the repair going to last, and how many more years can I count on this system with or without the repair?

Systems Current Condition
Just like cars not all comfort systems have lived the same life. If we have ever serviced your system we can tell you a lot of key factors such as age/life expectancy, condition, repair history, type of refrigerant being used, and efficiency.

Warranty Status
Most systems have a 10 year parts only warranty or less from the original install date. Where as we offer up to 10 years of full parts and labor warranty on almost all of our lineup.

In Home Consultation
Next step is for us to come out and assess your project to provide a quote. This is where we get a chance to pick the size of unit the house needs, inspect the ductwork the new system will be hooking up to, plan for any obstacles that might appear during install, and address any uncomfortable areas of your home. From there we will put together a proposal of a few different options to go over them with you in person and find the right fit based on your needs, wants and budget. This also gives us the opportunity to go over financing and payment options.

Scheduling
Once a decision has been made we will get to work finding the best time to install your new system. Depending on circumstance and availability this could be as soon as the next day.

Install Day
Arguably the most exciting step of the process! Our professionally trained installers will remove the old system and install your new one to manufacturer’s recommendations. All while keeping your home clean and damage free. We will then walk you through your new system and answer any questions you may have.

Follow Up
For most companies the process would be over but OnAgain takes it one step further. We file any rebate or warranty form to make sure you get what you pay for. We then follow up with you to make sure everything is satisfactory and answer any new questions. Lasty, we schedule the complementary maintenance for us to come back out to clean and inspect your new system to make sure it’s running properly.
