Bid Review
Between the initial consultation and the bid review we will decide what size of equipment your house needs by using software and a rough idea of the HVAC layout for quoting purposes. From there we will build a proposal of the different options with legitimate quotes, not estimates. Then we will schedule a sit down meeting and go over the proposal in as much detail as you would like.
Design Process
Once we have been awarded the job and the type of equipment has been picked. We will go back to the same software we used to size the equipment and start designing the whole HVAC system (ductwork, equipment location, radiant tubing layout, ect.). We will even work with your other contractors to make sure everything goes in smoothly and we are making the best decisions possible. At the end of the design process we will have CAD drawings of your system layout and a game plan of exactly what to do.
Rough In
As soon as your home is framed in and has become water tight we can start installing all the ductwork and set equipment. We do as much as we can at this phase prior to drywall so that once the insulation and drywall wall has been installed, we have very little work left.
Trim Out
On a typical house we usually have one more day of work left during this phase. This depends greatly on the size of house and complexity of the system but typically all we need to finish is installing the registers and thermostats then finalize the technical details with the system. Once all the work is done we take the time to properly test everything to confirm your system is running as efficiently as possible and make any necessary adjustments.
Walk Through
Before or after your move in date we like to have one last walk through with the new homeowners. This is where we get a chance to go through the whole system, explaining all the components, setting the thermostat up to your preferences, and explaining the suggested maintenance. After this you get to enjoy your new home and the piece of mind of a professionally installed HVAC system with a 10 year warranty!
